A theatre review by Rosie, Year 11:

Seeing Stranger Things was absolutely incredible. As well as being an amazing show, it was especially great to see after having learnt about the design components of theatre such as lighting, sound and costume in our drama lessons.

The show was very design-heavy and being able to witness the choices of designers from an audience perspective was not only immersive and engaging but was also really useful to develop our understanding of live theatre. Also, as drama students, we were able to appreciate the extremely high quality of acting as well as the effort that had to be put into all of the costumes, lighting, stunts and sound effects. I’m really looking forward to exploring the technology and designing that was behind the incredibly complex show.

There couldn’t really have been a better show to see to help our progress in Drama and ultimately write about in our final exam.
