The sun has been out in Wallingford, the Bigg Band practicing, sports fixtures aplenty, a STARS trip to Silverstone, the Ninja Warrior competition has pulled in the lunchtime crowds and there has been a whole lot more going on beyond all of this. Our school is vibrant, full of energy and has something very special about it.

At the heart of all this are our students and they are a pleasure to be around – polite and committed, sunny-natured and hardworking, open to new ideas and committed to their learning. Whether it’s in the classroom or in enrichment and extra-curricular activities, they form a brilliant student body which is a genuine joy to work with. When I walk around school with visitors – as I have several times this week – and we pop into classes or bump into groups or individuals the feedback is without fail about what great young people they are and at the end of another busy week in the middle of the academic year we could not be more proud of them.

Thank you to everyone who has already completed our annual Parent and Carer Survey; if you haven’t yet had the chance to do so the deadline is Monday 9th March and the feedback is always valued and useful to us as we plan for the future. As a school we are always moving forward and looking for input from across our school community.
