Group shot on the cliff topWe have had so much going on in school over the past week that it is hard to cover it all. A flavour of the range of activities is on the school’s social media pages which include wonderful photos of Year 9 students at their residential visits to Yenworthy or Kilvrough or Woodlands; Year 10 Geographers on the south coast; Year 8 students shopping in Boulogne; and Year 10 students supporting children at a services families’ conference.

These are snapshots of the life of our school and I am very fortunate to lead a group of outstanding staff, both teaching and associate, who are absolutely committed to our school’s values and to providing the best opportunities for our students – they go beyond what could ever be expected of them every day and we thank them for that.

In addition, we have had Year 5 students and families visiting us for Open Mornings, welcomed next year’s Year 12 students for their Taster Days, said goodbye to Year 13 at their Leavers’ Ball on Wednesday and held Founder’s Day, one of the highlights of the school year, on Thursday.

All in all a busy week which is a great reflection of our brilliant school community.
